The Bikuu (鼻腔, Bikū?)[1] is a mushi that can infect the nasal cavity of any living creature that smells the flower it resides in. It may unofficially be called hirugaomushi (ヒルガオ蟲, Hirugaomushi?, lit. Morning glory mushi) since it is shown to reside in morning glory flowers.
It synchronizes its biological clock with its host, so the host experiences the mushi's life in one day. When the mushi dies, the host dies too, but the host is reborn the next day.
Weakness[]
The mushi can be easily removed by tapping a needle on the area between the host's eyebrows.

In the "Translation Notes" at the end of Volume 2, it says the name for this mushi, Bikuu, is made up of the characters for mushi (蟲?) and nasal cavity (鼻腔, bikō; bikū?). In the Japanese manga, however, this mushi is not given a name.
