Tokoyukimushi (常雪蟲, Tokoyukimushi?, lit. Neverending Snow Mushi) are the rarest of the snow-type mushi. They travel in groups and find a single animal to attach themselves to by sticking tiny barbs into its skin and sucking the heat from its body little by little. This lowers the host's body temperature, though not enough to kill it, and then it is believed the Tokoyukimushi naturally disappear when spring comes. Animals affected by the Tokoyukimushi appear as if snow is constantly falling around them.
